I was skeptical on whether or not this cord really output stereo or not. I plugged it in and didn't hear too much of a difference. My TV has a headphone jack, so I then used that to test it. Sure enough, there were added sounds and music that was only used in stereo. It made the experience more exciting and I played through all my games just to hear what other sounds were taken out when put in mono.

I bought this cable to replace the original RF switch that came with my 2nd Gen Sega Genesis. It had gone missing, preventing me from indulging my impulse to play Contra Hard Corps. Anyhow the cable works great. I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about when mentioning that you don't get stereo output from this cable. I've gotten stereo output from this thing from day one. I can't speak on the cable's lifespan, as I have been using it for less than a week, but for now, it works just as described - not to mention it was a heck of a lot cheaper than an OEM Sega cable.

Excellent Service,

This was the first purchase I made online, and let me say, I had my doubts. However, I'm glad I made this purchase. The product arrived much earlier than expected. I ordered on the the 1st of September, and it was shipped on September 2nd. The morning of September 4, the product had arrived. Keep in mind I didn't pay for faster shipping, I payed the basic rate and had the cables in my hand a whole week earlier than the expected arrival date.
As for the quality of the product, the cables work and the picture and sound is better than the original RF adapter that came with my Genesis. It should be noted that because the Genesis wasn't designed for HD video, when plugged into some HDTVs, there may be lines running through the picture. However they are barely visible, and are present on most AV devices on an HDTV, including the Wii.
Overall I am very impressed and know where to go for future classic gaming purchases.
